We federate with most other Mastodon instances. We limit federation (showing their users' content only if you're following them) with instances that often carry content which our rules would forbid. We block federation with instances that seem to be dedicated to that content.

Our instance hosts many (innocuous) bots. If you don't want to see their toots, go to the "Filters" section of your preferences and filter the "#bot" hashtag.

Since we're a small instance and Mastodon is decentralized, our "Local timeline" isn't as busy as larger instances'. Our "Federated timeline" shows toots from any user across the fediverse who is followed by someone here on this instance. Please make interesting posts, and follow interesting people across the fediverse, to make these timelines awesome!
