Reporting and moderation

When reporting accounts, please make sure to include at least a few posts that show rule-breaking behaviour, when applicable. If there is any additional context that might help make a decision, please also include it in the comment. This is especially important when the content is in a language nobody on the moderation team speaks.

We usually handle reports within 24 hours. Please mind that you are not notified when a report you have made has led to a punitive action, and that not all punitive actions are externally visible. For first time offences, we may opt to delete offending content, escalating to harsher measures on repeat offences.

Our Responsibilities

Project maintainers are responsible for clarifying the standards of acceptable behaviours and are expected to take appropriate and fair corrective action in response to any instances of unacceptable behaviour.

Project maintainers have the right and responsibility to remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, wiki edits, issues, and other contributions that are not aligned to this Code of Conduct, or to ban temporarily or permanently any contributor for other behaviours that they deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.

Scope

Roadmap

As the server grows we plan to scale infrastructure accordingly. As part of this there may be scheduled downtime which will be announced long before.

As costs of this rise, I (@cleatsandcode) will put together a clear outline of monthly costs and donations to this are greatly received.
