This Mastodon server is for anyone interested in #Genealogy. It is open to anyone, however it helps if you have a keen interest in the topic as the 'local' feed will be Family Research heavy.

Genealysis.social is run as a free service, but if you ever wished to make a small donation you can find details here. The site abides by the Mastodon Server Covenant keeping you safe and secure.

The server and data are based in Finland, hosted by Hetzner

1. Be kind, courtesy and respectful.

This mastodon server is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone. We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form.

1. They must be more OSM-specific and OSM-relevant, than a regular human account.
2. Bots that post a high amount of automaticaly-generated toots must use the “Quiet Public” publishing level to avoid overwhelming the OSM Town Local Timeline, or popular, generic hashtags (e.g #OpenStreetMap)
