II./2./b, Az adatkezelés jogszabályi háttere és jogalapja: Az adatkezelésre a Felhasználó kifejezett, önkéntes hozzájárulásával kerül sor. A hozzájárulás megadása az Adatkezelő www.magyarmastodon.com weboldalán, az Üzenetküldő űrlap kitöltésekor, ezen tájékoztató elektronikus elolvasásával és elfogadásával történik. A Felhasználó személyes adatait nem köteles megadni, de ez az Üzenetküldő űrlap kitöltésének és beküldésének feltétele, ennek hiányában a Felhasználóval nem lehet kapcsolatot létesíteni és válaszolni az általa küldeni kívánt üzenetre. II./2./c, A kezelt adatok köre: Név, e-mail cím. II./2.d, Az adatkezelés időtartama: Az üzenetküldő űrlap beérkezését követően a személyes adatokat legfeljebb 60 napig kezeli az Adatkezelő. Az üzenetküldő űrlap beérkezését követően 7 napon belül az Adatkezelő válaszol. Ha a Felhasználó nem reagál az Adatkezelő válaszára 30 napon belül, akkor ezt 15 nap alatt ellenőrzi az Adatkezelő, ezt követően törli a Felhasználó adatait. Ha a Felhasználó 60 napon belül hozzájárulását visszavonja, akkor az adatkezelés időtartama a hozzájárulás megadásától a visszavonásig értendő. A Felhasználó a hozzájárulását díjmentesen visszavonhatja elektronikus, vagy postai úton bármikor. A tudomásszerzést követően az Adatkezelő 15 napon belül intézkedik a Felhasználó személyes adatainak törléséről. Amennyiben az Adatkezelő tudomására jut, hogy a Felhasználó által megadott email cím nem valós, vagy más személy használja, 15 napon belül intézkedik a Felhasználó személyes adatainak törléséről. A visszavonáshoz való jog a visszavonás előtt a hozzájárulás alapján végrehajtott adatkezelés jogszerűségét nem érinti. II./3. Adatkezelés hírlevelekkel kapcsolatban II./3./a, Az adatkezelés célja: A „Feliratkozom a hírlevélre” menüpontban, a Felhasználónak lehetősége van hírlevélre feliratkozni. A Felhasználó által beküldött adatok tárolásra kerülnek, majd hírlevelek kiküldésére kerül sor az általa megadott e-mail címre. II./3./b, Az adatkezelés jogszabályi háttere és jogalapja: Az adatkezelésre a Felhasználó kifejezett, önkéntes hozzájárulásával kerül sor. A hozzájárulás megadása az Adatkezelő www.magyarmastodon.com weboldalán, az „Feliratkozom a hírlevélre” űrlapon, ezen tájékoztató elektronikus elolvasásával és elfogadásával történik. A Felhasználó személyes adatait nem köteles megadni, de ez az feliratkozó űrlap kitöltésének és beküldésének feltétele, ennek hiányában a Felhasználónak nem lehet hírlevelet küldeni. II./3./c, A kezelt adatok köre: Név, e-mail cím. II./3.d, Az adatkezelés időtartama: Az feliratkozó űrlap beérkezését követően a személyes adatokat a hírlevélküldő szolgáltatás működéséig, vagy a Felhasználó hozzájárulásának visszavonásáig kezeli az Adatkezelő. A Felhasználó a hozzájárulását díjmentesen visszavonhatja az Adatkezelő email címére küldött üzenettel. A tudomásszerzést követően az Adatkezelő 15 napon belül intézkedik a Felhasználó személyes adatainak törléséről. Amennyiben az Adatkezelő tudomására jut, hogy a Felhasználó által megadott email cím nem valós, vagy más személy használja, 15 napon belül intézkedik a Felhasználó személyes adatainak törléséről. A visszavonáshoz való jog a visszavonás előtt a hozzájárulás alapján végrehajtott adatkezelés jogszerűségét nem érinti. II./4. Adatkezelés a webshopban való vásárlással kapcsolatban II./4./a, Az adatkezelés célja: Jogszabályban előírt számviteli bizonylat (számla) készítése és a bizonylat-megőrzési kötelezettség teljesítése az Sztv. 169. § (1)-(2) bekezdése alapján. II./4./b, Az adatkezelés jogszabályi háttere és jogalapja: Az adatkezelés hátterét a 2011. évi CXII. (Infotv.) - az információs önrendelkezési jogról és az információszabadságról szóló törvényés a 2000. évi C. (Sztv.) –a számvitelről szóló törvény- rendelkezései jelentik. Az adatkezelés jogalapja az Ön hozzájárulása (az Infotv. 5. § (1) bekezdés a) pontjával összhangban), hozzájárulása visszavonása esetén az Adatkezelőt terhelő, Sztv-ben megfogalmazott jogi kötelezettség teljesítése (Infotv. 6 § (5) bekezdése a) pontja alapján). II./4./c, A kezelt adatok köre: Név, e-mail cím, számlázási név, számlázási cím. II./4.d, Az adatkezelés időtartama: 8 év (Sztv. 169. § (2) bekezdése alapján). (Amennyiben a számla kiállításához adott hozzájárulását visszavonja, az Adatkezelő az Infotv. 6. § (5) bekezdés a) pontja alapján jogosult a számla kiállítása során megismert személyes adatait 8 évig megőrizni.) II./5. További adatkezelések Ha az Adatkezelő további adatkezelést kíván végezni, akkor előzetes tájékoztatatást nyújt az adatkezelés jogalapjáról, jogszabályi hátteréről és az adatkezelés céljáról, az adatkezelés időtartamáról és a kezelt adatok köréről. Tájékoztatás: az Adatkezelőnek teljesítenie kell a hatóságok törvényi felhatalmazáson alapuló, írásbeli adatkéréseit, ezért az Adatkezelő az Infotv. 15. § (2)-(3) - adattovábbításokról szóló- bekezdésével összhangban nyilvántartást vezet (mely személyes adatot, milyen jogalapon, mikor továbbított a hatóság részére). A nyilvántartás tartalmáról kérésére az Adatkezelő tájékoztatást nyújt, amennyiben ennek nincs törvényi akadálya. III. Adatfeldolgozó igénybevétele és az adatkezeléshez kapcsolódó tevékenysége III./1. III./2. Adatbiztonsági intézkedések Az Adatkezelő kijelenti, hogy megtette a szükséges intézkedéseket azért, hogy a jogosulatlan tevékenységektől (nyilvánosságra hozataltól, továbbítástól, hozzáféréstől, megsemmisítéstől, megváltoztatástól) megvédje a személyes adatokat. Valamint Adatkezelő kijelenti, hogy megtette a szükséges intézkedéseket azért is, hogy technikai hiba, vagy a technikai környezet változása folytán történő hozzáférhetetlenné válás, sérülés, megsemmisülés ne érje a személyes adatokat. IV. Az Ön jogai az adatkezeléssel kapcsolatban az adatkezelés időtartamán belül IV./1. Tiltakozás joga: Ön tiltakozhat személyes adatának kezelése ellen, ha a személyes adatok kezelése vagy továbbítása kizárólag az Adatkezelőre vonatkozó jogi kötelezettség teljesítéséhez vagy az Adatkezelő, adatátvevő vagy harmadik személy jogos érdekének érvényesítéséhez szükséges, kivéve kötelező adatkezelés esetén és az Infotv. 6. § (5) bekezdésében foglalt esetben. Ön tiltakozhat személyes adatának kezelés ellen abban az esetben is ha a személyes adat felhasználása vagy továbbítása – az Ön hozzájárulása nélkül – közvetlen üzletszerzés, közvéleménykutatás vagy tudományos kutatás céljára történik. Az Adatkezelő a tiltakozást a kérelem benyújtásától számított legrövidebb időn belül, de legfeljebb 15 napon belül megvizsgálja, annak megalapozottsága kérdésében döntést hoz, és döntéséről Önt írásban tájékoztatja. Ha az adatkezelő az érintett helyesbítés, zárolás vagy törlés iránti kérelmét nem teljesíti, a kérelem kézhezvételét követő 25 napon belül írásban vagy az érintett hozzájárulásával elektronikus úton közli a helyesbítés, zárolás vagy törlés iránti kérelem elutasításának ténybeli és jogi indokait. IV./2. Adatok zárolásának joga: Ha a személyes adatok nem törölhetőek az érintett jogos érdekei megsértése nélkül, akkor Ön kérheti, hogy személyes adatai zárolását. A zárolt adatok csak addig kezelhetőek, míg a törlést kizáró okok fennállnak. IV./3, Adatok törléséhez való jog: Ön kérheti személyes adatai törlését, melynek az Adatkezelő 15 napon belül köteles eleget tenni. Kivéve, ha az Adatkezelőt törvény kötelezi az adatok további tárolására, illetve ha az Infotv. 6. § (5) bekezdésével összhangban az Adatkezelő a személyes adatok további kezelésére jogosult (pl: számviteli bizonylattal összefüggésben). IV./4. Adatok helyesbítésének joga: Ön kérheti, hogy az Adatkezelő az Ön személyes adatait javítsa. Az Adatkezelő köteles ezt 15 napon belül megtenni. IV./5. Tájékoztatáshoz való jog: az Adatkezelőtől tájékoztatást kérhet a kezelt személyes adatairól (az adatkezelés jogalapjáról, céljáról, időtartamáról, az adatok továbbítása esetén arról is, hogy kik és milyen célból kapták meg az adatokat). Az Adatkezelő köteles a kérelem benyújtásától számított 25 napon belül közérthetően, írásban tájékoztatni Önt. V. Adatkezelési tájékoztató módosítása A jelenlegi adatkezelési tájékoztató módosítására az Adatkezelő fenntartja a jogot. A módosított adatkezelési tájékoztatót Ön a módosítás hatálybalépését követő honlaphasználattal elfogadja. VI. Bejelentkezés adatvédelmi nyilvántartásba Az Adatkezelőnek bizonyos adatkezeléseit be kell jelentenie az adatvédelmi nyilvántartásba az Infotv. rendelkezései értelmében. VII. Jogorvoslat Ön bírósághoz fordulhat, vagy a Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság vizsgálati eljárását kezdeményezheti amennyiben Ön szerint az Adatkezelő nem teljesítette valamely kérelmét, vagy megsértette valamelyik, az adatkezelésre vonatkozó törvényi rendelkezést. Polyglot City is an instance for people interested in languages, language learning, and translation, as well as multilingual and polyglot people. You're free to toot about any topic (or even about no topic at all) as long as you follow a few simple rules (elaborated below). You can use any language you'd like here -- in fact, the use of different languages is strongly encouraged and appreciated!

Elaborated rules

  1. No discrimination or harassment of any kind in any language. No nazism or nazi-sympathies. No illegal content. Violations will be moderated and can lead to account deletion.
  2. No bot accounts or accounts used solely for automated crossposting, redirection or data farming. Every account on this instance must be used manually by a real person. Bot accounts and automated accounts will be deleted. (To be clear: You are allowed to follow bots that are on other instances.)
  3. Please consider using a content warning (CW) when tooting about topics that might be sensitive. Common topics for CW are things like politics, mental/physical health, food, alcohol, sex/nudity, images with eye contact. (This list is in no way exhaustive.) In mild cases, not using CW won't lead to moderation, but you will be asked to use CWs. Please note that not using CWs for sensitive topics may lead to our entire instance being blocked by other instances.
  4. We believe the Fediverse is a space for people and communities, not corporations and profiteering. We will proactively block any instances that are run for profit or by for-profit organizations.
  5. In general, try to be considerate and compassionate.
  6. Please follow good Mastodon etiquette.
  7. The rules will be revised as needed. If you think an important rule is missing, please inform the admins.

We will try to add moderators as needed to keep up with the volume and common languages on the instance. Our moderation circle currently has the following members:


Suspension of inactive accounts

At the moment, the hosting of this instance is paid for entirely by the admin, which limits how many active accounts we can support. New registrations might therefore close when we approach the limit. To keep us below the limit, the admin will periodically suspend accounts that have not been used in six months. When this is about to happen, these users will get a direct message telling about incoming suspension. After this announcement, they will have 30 days to reply if they wish to continue to keep the account active. If no reply is received in 30 days, the account will be suspended.

Governance

This instance currently has a single admin, but our goal right is to transform the instance into a form of sociocratically organized platform cooperative. A discussion about governance structures is planned; contact the admin if that interests you.

The instance is hosted by fedi.monster, which has its servers in Europe (mainly in Finland). We collect only the information you voluntarily enter in your profile and your toots, and your information is not handed to any third party other than our hosting service. You may delete your own data or account at your will, or ask us to remove your account.

Restricted Content

We allow any content defined in the Code of Conduct Restricted Content section under the following guidelines:

  • Text is hidden behind a Content Warning
  • Media is marked as sensitive with a description or Content Warning
  • The Content Warning or description used has:

    • An appropriate description of the hidden content so users can decide if they want to interact
    • Appropriate hashtags so users can automatically filter content they don't wish to see


Crossposting

"Crossposting" is the automatic copying of posts between platforms. This does not include posts made simultaneously from the same app to multiple platforms. Those posts would be considered original content and the following may not apply.

Crossposting from our Social Space to other platforms is fully permitted by us. Be aware, that the other platform may have guidelines regarding Crossposting. Crossposting from other platforms into our Social Space is only allowed under the following guidelines:

  • The posts do not include platform specific mentions or references, i.e talking about "here" referring to the other platform.
  • The Social Space account is at least semi-regularly monitored so that interactions on Mastodon are not ignored.
  • The accounts are both owned by the same person. Third party crossposting is not allowed.
  • Content from other accounts is not copied verbatim, i.e. quote tweets.

Multiple Accounts

You are allowed to have multiple accounts on our instance unless except for purposes that violate our Code of Conduct or other guidelines or for ban, suspension, or block evading.

Reporting Violations

To report a post on Mastodon, you can click the 3-dot menu button on a post and select report. From there, you can select the reason for the report along with additional posts to include. Next, you can specify more details for the report. Please include any details you think may help a moderator understand and make a decision about your report.

If the report is against a user from another instance, you'll also have the option to forward an anonymized copy of the report to that other instance. You should only do this if the post also violates that instances rules.

Do I have to be a working journalist to apply? No! This instance is open to everyone. The only requirement is that you follow the rules. Why was my application rejected? This community is for journalists and others interested in information ethics. We’re accepting applications that give a good reason why you want to be here. If your first application wasn’t accepted (e.g., you can’t log in), feel free to reapply.
