Safe space for naturists

Welcome to The Body Social, an intentional community of naturists looking for a space to build friendships with like-minded people and share simple nudity safely inside the fediverse.

Beliefs

• I only get one body, so I'm going to enjoy it
• I put health and happiness above the expectations of others
• I prefer to be naked when I can be
• I think there's more to nudity than sex and showering
• We are a group about body diversity and body acceptance

Audience

Mastodon and the fediverse, collectively, encompass around 11 million users and around 1.8 million active users per month (source: FediDB). Our community is intentionally small, but has access to 25,000 other communities which can be seamlessly followed and posted to from the comfort of The Body Social.

Moderation

Keeping a safe space for naturists requires moderation that can't commonly be found in larger communities. We're here to treat our members with care and help them grow by moderating from a philosophy compatible with their own.

Our promises are to keep your data backed up and safe and your experience here seamless and uninterrupted.

Funding

The Body Social is self-funded at the moment and not seeking any funding.

1. No body shaming, ageism, casteism, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or xenophobia
2. No harassment, dogpiling, or doxxing of any user
3. No predatory marketing practices
4. No intentionally false or misleading information
5. No non-sexual nudity that directs to sex businesses or accounts
6. No non-consensual media containing nudity
7. No incitement of violence or promotion of violent ideologies
8. Mark violent media with a content warning
9. Mark sexually-explicit nudity with a content warning
10. Mark AI-generated accounts as AI-generated in the account's description
11. Complete your account with a profile picture, cover picture, and description
