La Communette est une tentative de construire un espace serein de rencontres, d'échanges et d'entraide en ligne pour les personnes créatives et engagées ou pour les chiens 🐶.

Venez discuter, aider et demander de l'aide, partager vos pratiques, passions et inquiétudes ou simplement rencontrer d'autres gens autour de sujets ou activités vastes : arts, bouffe, musique, militance, artisanat, cinoche, geekerie, maraîchage, vélo, bref ce que vous voulez.

Nous avons commencé la communette pour répondre aux besoins de nos amies de se retrouver en ligne en mode cocon, si cette idée te parle : demande un lien d'invitation et la commu te mettra bien !

Donc si vous êtes là c'est que vous êtes ok pour essayer de cultiver ici des formes critiques de bienveillance basées sur l'entraide la tolérance et la bamboche (◡‿◡✿)

Gardez un œil sur les biais d'usages inhérents aux réseaux sociaux tels que les phénomènes de « bulles de filtres »* et en lien à cela de reconsidérer les différences de rapports sociaux* qui pré-existent entre les personnes, et oui : ce réseau n'est probablement pas le reflet de la vraie société véritable !

La Communette respecte la vie privée de ses membres, il n'y a pas de pubs et pas de prédation de données. C'est globalement une instance francophone, mais il est tout-à-fait possible d'y rédiger des publications dans d'autres langues.

Nous ferons au mieux avec nos ressources limitées pour rendre l'outil facile d'accès et d'utilisation pour tout le monde, sans en cacher les arcanes pour les personnes souhaitant comprendre les enjeux politiques et les subtilités techniques.

Comprendre la base

La Commu est un espace, appelé une instance, qui existe au sein d'un réseau social plus large nommé Fédivers : les « Univers Fédérés ». Ce réseau est composé de multiples instances avec chacunes leur propre thématique et leurs propres règles de modération. En créant un compte sur La Commu, vous pourrez interagir avec les comptes situés sur les autres instances.

D'autres logiciels permettent de créer des instances. Celui utilisé pour faire tourner lacommu s'appelle Mastodon, il permet de poster des écrits relativement courts ou pas, des images, des vidéos et des sons. Parmis les autres logiciels, nous pouvons citer Pixelfed, orienté partage d'images, Peertube, pour créer sa chaine de diffusion de vidéos, Mobilizon pour créer des événements. En étant sur La Commu vous pourrez également intéragir avec les comptes situés sur les instances fonctionnant avec ces autres logiciels.

Étant composé d'instances appartenant à de nombreuses entités différentes, le Fédivers est dit décentralisé. De par sa nature, il est très difficile de le vampiriser et de le censurer.

Par ailleurs La Communette est hébergée en France sur des machines qui nous appartiennent. Cela nous semble important de garder le contrôle de l'outil et la compréhension de son fonctionnement pour rester vigilants quant aux évolutions futures du réseau et des logiciels.

La Communette est un réseau social public, n'échangez pas de données pouvant être préjudiciables pour vous ou une autre personne, même via la fonctionnalité des posts « personnes mentionnées uniquement » / « personnes spécifiques », pour cela vous pouvez utiliser des outils comme l'application Signal Messenger.
