Rules

This is not a legal document, but rather a guideline of what conduct will be tolerated on this instance.

Particular cases will be judged individually, and we take all reports seriously.

Please avoid using profanity and tearing others down with your words. Remember what Paul wrote in Ephesians 4:29: “Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear.”

Harassment of any kind toward anyone for any reason is unacceptable and will result in harsh action against your account.

Speak the truth with love. Both are vital and cannot be divorced.

You won't be banned for calmly voicing your opinions, even if others think they are absurd or incorrect (no arbitrary "fact checkers"). Just be prepared for friendly discussion about it.

All in all, keep There’s Life a family friendly place and follow Jesus’ teaching in Luke 6:31: “As you would like people to do to you, do exactly so to them.”

So the rules can be summarized as, “Be kind to one another” and “Love others as Christ has loved us.”

For clarification, here are some concrete rules:

• Content illegal in United States or Germany (location of the server) are not permitted
• Don’t post anything sexually suggestive or explicit
• Any kind of bigotry against people or their beliefs is prohibited
• Be considerate when replying to others’ posts. Would they appreciate the tone or content of your response? Think before you post.
• Harassment is prohibited, as mentioned before.
• Spam (repeated posting of something identical or similar) is not allowed
• Accounts dedicated to promoting a brand or business are not allowed

Overall, keep There’s Life family friendly.

Bots

No automated posting (without direct human supervision, such as a Twitter crossposter) is allowed on There’s Life without prior permission from a moderator.

Reports

We take all reports from all instances seriously. We also try to respond to those who have made reports to notify them that action has taken place. When reports are sent from other instances, we will try to notify an admin of that instance to let them know what we have done to stop the problem.

Also, when there is a problem with one of our members, please discuss the issue with our admins (@life). We care about issues and want to help address them.
