The purpose of SoTL.social. This is a site and refuge for the discussion of all issues related to the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. Issues, toots, and boosts unrelated to SoTL do not belong on this site. All posts unrelated to SoTL may be deleted at the discretion of the administrator.

Bio
Founder of Teaching for Student Success Media and the Teaching for Student Success podcast. I served as a faculty member in the wonderful Department of Biology at the University of Hawaii at Manoa for most of my career. I taught cell & molecular biology, and genetics. My research group studied the hormonal control of nervous system development in fruit flies. From 2015-2020 I had the pleasure of serving as associate dean in the College of Natural Sciences at Chico State.
