People are awesome. People are awesome in different ways. We would like people to be awesome in their own way on our instance. Our goal is to provide an atmosphere where all of us can get together.
To get into more specifics, this means we do not tolerate any harassment or disrespect of our members due to age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.
This Code of Conduct covers all activities on Queer Garden.
Instance TeamQueer Garden has two admins: Zoë (@moiety, they/she) and barrow (@barrow, they/them). You can contact them if you have any questions about Queer Garden or if you want to report something.
Expected behaviour - Being kind to each other & showing empathy towards others
- Being respectful of differing viewpoints and experiences
- Be friendly and patient when being offered constructive criticism
Unacceptable behaviour - Any unwelcome sexual attention or advances including the use of sexualized language or imagery, sexualized comments or jokes.
- Trolling, insulting/derogatory comments, and discriminatory jokes or language. This includes things like:
- slurs of an oppressive nature
- misgendering on purpose
- Public or private harassment including intimidation, stalking or following (online or in person)
- Publishing anothers’ private information, such as a physical or electronic address, without explicit permission
- Advocating for, or enabling, any of the above behaviour
Enforcement Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behaviour may be reported by contacting the instance team at:

All complaints will be reviewed and investigated and will result in a response that is deemed necessary and appropriate to the circumstances. For example: members that don’t follow the CoC can be temporarily silenced or permanently banned from the instance, or both. The instance team is obligated to maintain confidentiality with regard to the reporter of an incident.
Instance team members who do not follow or enforce the Code of Conduct in good faith may face temporary or permanent repercussions as determined by other members of the instance’s leadership.
