What is metalhead.club?

Metalhead.club is a microblogging platform - A place where you can exchange short posts with like-minded people about metal and rock or other topics that attract your interest.

metalhead.club is unlike any other social media platform. We're especially proud of the following features:

• We do not serve ads from ad networks
• We do not collect or sell your data (tracking information)
• Our servers and infrastructure are mainly powered by green energy! - see note [1]
• We're funded by voluntary donations of our members
• There are many features for ignoring content that you don't like
• metalhead.club is connected to the decentralized "Fediverse" platform
• We have a chronological timeline. There are no fancy algorithms which manipulate you to spend more time on the site than you intend to.

On metalhead.club we are mainly connected by our taste in music - but of course you can also discuss other topics ;-)
