Instance run by a non-profit association, with a mission statement to encourage an open internet, welcoming to everyone. Signups are invite only - you must follow the association's mission to join.
Code of Conduct These apply both on this instance and when interacting with other instances.
- Follow the spirit of the Fuzzy Systems mission statement - encouraging an open internet, welcoming to everyone.
- Respect boundaries set by others, listen. Apologize if you overstep them. Give space. Failure to do so is an instant ban.
- Instead of escalating, flag toots for an admin to look into. We're not overcrowded here.
- CW anything that might potentially upset someone, including NSFW content.
- Ableism, racism, sexism, transphobia, xenophobia, and microaggressions are all forbidden - you'll be banned if you repeatedly do it or if it's serious, but we all make mistakes and have things to unlearn.
- No content illegal in Sweden.
Administration This is officially administered by the board of Fuzzy Systems. Members of the association can vote to kick anyone who does not follow the mission statement out of the association, including board members.
Instance level moderation Instances which don't conform to the code of conduct above will be suspended by default, as the administration becomes aware of the instance.
In addition, not having any staff/admin listed, or having all staff profiles inaccessible to anonymous users, is grounds for silencing, and suspension in case of any technical issues, as it's near impossible to solve without being able to cooperate with the other instance.
We understand that users don't reflect their instance, and thus won't take instance-wide action based on the act of a single individual
unless that individual is staff, or reports get ignored.
Silencing The following accounts will be silenced, i.e. hidden from view by non-followers and from the federated timeline, by default:
- Reposting bots, such as news bots.
- Non-English bots. Accounts run by people are fine.
