An Mastodon instance for anyone (including business and organizations) in Tacoma, Washington and surrounding areas. This instance does not tolerate hate nor harassment in any way.

This instance was spun up on Martin Luther King Jr Day 2025, somewhat on purpose.

I wanted to be able to provide a safe online place in the fediverse for anyone in the Tacoma Wa area owned and moderated by someone else in Tacoma.

My hopes for this instance is that it will start to grow with human and businesses alike wanting to interact with each other from Tacoma and beyond but not be dependent on corporate controlled websites that are only there to make a profit off of you and have all but given up on moderating hate-speech.

I am currently paying for this instance and it will not be going anywhere anytime soon as I know that adoption might be slow. In the case that I do decide to terminate the instance I will give a six months lead time to allow current users to find a new Mastodon instance to migrate to.

Migrations from other accounts or even secondary accounts are also welcomed if you feel like this would be a nice home for you too!
