Who It's For

Quokka.City is designed by ex-Quotev users for migrating users seeking private and accessible alternatives for microblogging sites. This space is not by any means a replacement for Quotev, but instead aims to help previous users recuperate and microblog at will. As long as you are a former Quotev user and abide by our rules, you are welcome here! This is not intended to be cliquey or exclusive by any means, and we strive to moderate as fairly as possible.

How To Sign Up

When you click the 'Create account' button, you should be prompted with a box asking why you want to join. Please provide your Quotev URL, or the Quokka username of the user who referred you to the site! Your registration form may not be accepted if you fail to do so. Please also be sure that you are over the age of 15 to join us. You are able to resubmit a form if you are rejected for any reason.

I wasn't a prior Quotev user - can I still join?

Yes! Given that you were referred from someone, just let us know their Quokka username. Don't forget to submit your age when registering !

As this is a fairly new instance (founded early June), registrations may be subject to be closed or limited at any time as we want to make sure our servers can accommodate all users/media sharing etc. Similarly, these rules are subject to change as our community grows.

1. Age Requirement - We require users to be at least 15 years or older to use this platform.
2. Inclusivity - No white supremacy, antiblackness, colorism, transmisia, cisheterosexism, ableism, misogyny, fat hate, or gender binarism. Bigotry of any kind will not be tolerated here. Reclaiming slurs IS OKAY, but be aware of who you are speaking to/with and respect their boundaries.
3. Golden Rule - Be respectful to your peers please. We're all here just trying to find a place that fills the same social media niche we're used to so don't be rude or hateful to anyone else. Threats, persistent block evasions, and harassment will result in a suspension.
4. Protecting Vulnerable Individuals - Content that exploits, abuses, or endangers children or animals is strictly prohibited. This includes content that sexualizes minors or animals, as well as material that promotes harm against them.
5. Requirements for Account Request - In order for us to maintain a level of safety on the site, we ask that when submitting a request for an account you give us your NAME, AGE, AND YOUR QUOTEV OR DISCORD USERS. Thank you.
6. Account Limit - To keep our servers stable, you are currently allowed 2 accounts to your person! Please abide by this - if you exceed this limit we will have to delete the most recently created account. Account sharing is prohibited.
