Please follow the server rules when posting. You are encouraged to report posts that violate the server rules, and the moderator should react to your report within a reasonable time frame. Note that contents from external servers are not in our control. The report can be forwarded to the moderators of such external servers, but they may or may not act on it. You can also block unwanted posts or users instead.

This mastodon instance is physically located in a homelab in Tokyo, Japan. Note that Japanese law applies here.

This mastodon instance is solely operated by me. It runs on 100% free software. The server cluster and its hardware are owned by me running at home, no AWS, no Cloudflare, no man-in-the-middle, no bullsh*t - I swear on the River Styx to defend your freedom in computing.

The cost of operation is covered by me. Electricity alone costs about JP¥56,000/month (US$400/month in Sep 2024). The two ISPs cost JP¥15,730/month (US$112/month). Domain registration fee for *.lgbt is US$44.78/year. There are 3 authoritative nameservers (out of 7) not self-hosted; one in Paris, France on Gandi VPS (US$6 or JP¥850/month); two on Linode, one in Toronto, Canada, one in Stockholm, Sweden (subtotal US$10/month). Consider donation if you like what I do!
