Preamble

The following rules are accepted with the creation of an account and apply to all services offered by FediNerds.       
                                                                  
The highest commandment shall be mutual consideration. The fact that this is a public internet service and you are not physically facing each other does not release you from the basic rules of human coexistence and a minimum of behaviour.

1. General Rules

a) All violations or calls to violate German law are prohibited and will be punished. In addition, the regulations of the respective European member states or the European Union apply.

b) Any behaviour designed to interfere in any way with the provision of our services is prohibited.

2. Content

a) Content that is racist, illegal, pornographic or glorifies violence is strictly prohibited. This rule also includes avatars and links to pages with such content.

b) The mass creation of content in a short period of time is prohibited.

c) The publication of non-public conversations (e-mail, XMPP etc.) is only allowed if all parties involved have given their permission.

d) Insults and harassment are generally prohibited. This includes any form of defamation, agitation, slander and the like.

e) Not Safe for Work content that is potentially not suitable for all age groups or contains provocative content must be marked accordingly.

3. Accounts

a) Each user is entitled to a maximum of one account. Multiple accounts are only permitted with our written consent.

b) Accounts for commercial purposes require written permission from us.

c) We reserve the right to delete accounts that do not show any registration activity for more than 365 days.

d) We reserve the right to withdraw the user's licence to use the service temporarily or permanently, at any time and without giving reasons. Legal obligations and regulations are excluded from this.

4. Other regulations

a) The operation of bots is prohibited. All bot accounts require written consent from our side.

b) Errors or security gaps affecting our systems must be reported to us immediately. Deliberate exploitation is prohibited.

5. Sanctions

Violations of these rules are usually punished with a warning or a ban. In the case of serious violations or suspected wantonness in the violation, we reserve the right to block all accounts up to and including a house ban for all services. Account blocks are always personal. If an account is blocked, no other account may be created or used by the same user.

We reserve the right to change these terms of use at any time.

2. Alle Verstöße oder Aufrufe zum Verstoß gegen deutsches Recht sind untersagt und werden geahndet. Zusätzlich gelten die Bestimmungen der jeweiligen europäischen Mitgliedsstaaten bzw. der Europäischen Union.
3. Jegliches Verhalten, dass darauf ausgelegt ist die Bereitstellung unserer Dienste in irgendeiner Form zu beeinträchtigen, ist verboten.

5. Inhalte mit rassistischen, illegalen, pornografischen oder gewaltverherrlichenden Inhalten sind strengstens untersagt. Unter diese Regel fallen auch Avatare und Verweise zu Internetseiten mit entsprechenden Inhalten.
6. Das massenweise Erstellen von Inhalten in einem kurzen Zeitraum ist untersagt.
7. Die Veröffentlichung von nicht öffentlichen Gesprächen (E-Mail, XMPP, Matrix etc.) ist nur dann erlaubt, wenn alle beteiligten Parteien ihre Erlaubnis dazu gegeben haben.
8. Beleidigungen und Belästigungen sind generell verboten. Darunter fallen auch jegliche Formen der Diffamierung, Hetze, übler Nachrede und dergleichen.
9. Not Safe for Work Inhalte, die potenziell nicht für alle Altersgruppen geeignet sind oder provokante Inhalte enthalten, sind entsprechend zu kennzeichnen.
10. | Benutzerkonten |
11. Jeder Nutzerin und jedem Nutzer steht maximal ein Konto zu. Mehrfachanmeldungen sind nur mit schriftlicher Zustimmung von uns gestattet.
12. Konten für kommerzielle Zwecke erfordern eine schriftliche Erlaubnis unsererseits.
13. Wir behalten uns vor, Konten, die über 365 Tage keine Anmeldeaktivität aufweisen zu löschen.
14. Wir behalten uns vor, der Nutzerin oder dem Nutzer die Lizenz zur Nutzung des Dienstes zeitweise oder dauerhaft, jederzeit und ohne Angaben von Gründen zu entziehen. Ausgenommen davon sind gesetzliche Verpflichtungen und Bestimmungen.
15. | Sonstige Regelungen |
16. Das Betreiben von Bots ist verboten. Alle Bot Accounts benötigen die schriftliche Zustimmung von unserer Seite.
17. Fehler oder Sicherheitslücken die unsere Systeme betreffen sind uns unverzüglich zu melden. Ein bewusstes Ausnutzen ist untersagt.
18. | Sanktionen |
19. Zuwiderhandlungen gegen diese Regeln werden in der Regel mit einer Verwarnung oder Sperre geahndet. Bei schweren Verstößen, oder Verdacht auf Mutwilligkeit beim Verstoß behalten wir uns die Sperrung aller Konten bis hin zu einem Hausverbot für alle Dienste vor.
20. Wir behalten uns vor diese Nutzungsbedingungen jederzeit zu ändern.
