This is a Mastodon instance specifically intended for anyone who lives in or has a connection to Northern California.

Getting Started

After you sign up be sure to check for a confirmation email. You have to verify your email address before we can activate your account.

If you are new to Mastodon check out info.norcal.social for some general information on getting started and links to Mastodon documentation.

Contributing

norcal.social is run entirely by volunteers. However hosting requires real world costs. Contributing is always optional and any donations you make here go entirely to hosting fees: opencollective.com/norcalsocial
