Hips.Social is a server instance of the Mastodon Decentralized Social Network.
Although this instance was established to serve the active community of fans of the rock band, the Mother Hips, our user base consists of people from all walks of life with a great diversity of interests.
In the spirit of old-internet message boards, like The Grotto, and even pre-internet BBS systems, this server endeavors to deliver the feel of a local, tight-knit community, aligned around common interests.
Registration is open, so create an account and post a toot - yeah, that's the word - with the #hello hashtag and tell us a little bit about what brought you here.
