This instance is home for progressive political movements that fight for a better and more (climate-)just future. It's run by systemli.

Die Mastodon-Instanz systemli.social wird vom linken Technikkollektiv systemli betrieben. Wie alle unsere Services wird auch Mastodon ehrenamtlich und in der Freizeit zur Verfügung gestellt.

Die Instanz soll primär ein Ort für den politischen Austausch und Diskurs sein. Wir wollen damit vor allem progressiven linken Positionen im Fediverse einen dezidierten Raum geben und deren Akteur:innen unterstützen. Wichtig ist uns deshalb, Organisationen und Initiativen des globalen Südens und marginalisierte Gruppen über unsere Instanz sichtbar(er) zu machen. Daher sind wir vor allem ein Ort für Personen, Gruppen, Organisationen und Initiativen, die sich primär als politisch verstehen und sich in ihren Zielen und Ansätzen für eine (klima-)gerechtere und sozialere Zukunft einsetzen.

Wir verstehen uns als solidarischer Ort der politischen Auseinandersetzung und wissen um die Pluralität der politischen Linken. Deshalb weisen wir explizit darauf hin, dass die Veröffentlichungen auf dieser Instanz nicht die Meinung von systemli widerspiegeln, sofern sie nicht von unserem Account veröffentlicht wurden. Wir haben jedoch ein Interesse daran, einen möglichst breiten Diskursraum zu ermöglichen.

The Mastodon instance systemli.social is run by the leftist tech collective systemli. Like all of our services, Mastodon is provided on a volunteer basis and in our spare time.

The instance is primarily intended to be a place for political exchange and discourse. We want to give progressive left positions in Fediverse a dedicated space and support their actors. It is therefore important to us to make organizations and initiatives of the global south and marginalized groups visible through our instance. Therefore, we are primarily a place for people, groups, organizations and initiatives that see themselves primarily as political and are committed in their goals and approaches to a (climate) fairer and more social future.

We see ourselves as a place of political debate based on solidarity and are aware of the plurality of the political left. Therefore, we explicitly point out that the publications on this instance do not reflect the opinion of systemli, unless they were published by our account. However, we have an interest in enabling the broadest possible space for discourse.
