Hosted by the OER Foundation as part of the FOSSDLE initiative. Home for open educators wanting to collaborate on a better, open, benevolent, equitable digital future for higher education.
Long description
We expect users of this service to be aware of and comply with the OERu Privacy Policy (and a more "human readable" Privacy Notice) and Terms of Service which include our "Acceptable Conduct" section. Instance administrators reserve the right to remove content which we deem to be contrary to this conduct and the terms.
Instance rules
- No advertising of commercial goods and services
- No automated cross posting from Twitter, RSS etc.
- No spam
- No harassing people for what they are. No racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, able-ism, etc.
- No bots without express permission from the site administrators (who will, as a rule, only allow those offering real benefits to the community).
- No impersonating other people
- In the event of a dispute, site administrators' decisions are made on a good faith basis but are final.
- Descriptions required for images and video (ALT tag).
- Open copyright licensing of posts under a default Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike (CC-BY-SA) license. Users may opt for a more liberal license, e.g. CC-BY or dedicate posts to the public domain by including this copyright statement on their preferences page.
