Maly has a few rules defined as follows:

• Respect everyone: we actively moderate against racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia... Any kind of discrimination.
• No NSFW without at least having a content-warning and/or posting as unlisted.
• Any content that is illegal in Belgium, France or Germany is prohibited.
• Do not gather information about our users by means of web scrapers or other software alike.
• Don't spam.
• Have fun 🎉

We will do our best to get in touch with anyone breaking one or more of these rules before taking any action on the account. Illegal content will be deleted on sight and the account warned. Repeatedly or blatantly breaking these rules will result in the account being suspended.

Behind the scenes

This Mastodon instance is provided by Tijl, a person from Belgium. Our servers are hosted by Netcup in Germany while media files are hosted by OVH in France. If you want to donate, you can through Liberapay or through PayPal (send a message to @kindly first). That said, I am able to cover the full cost of the infrastructure without issue.
