We’re proud to host a server dedicated to gainers, encouragers, and all other members of this community. Our instance is based entirely in the European Union, ensuring full compliance with GDPR standards to protect your privacy. All data is securely stored on our VPS server and object storage, both hosted in the EU, keeping everything under strict data protection regulations.

In addition, we run regular backups of all data to ensure its safety and availability. These backups are also stored within the EU, ensuring that no data ever leaves the region and remains fully subject to GDPR compliance.

Running this instance is made possible by reasonable hosting costs and the dedication of two individuals who have been funding it since 2022. This commitment reflects our passion for creating an inclusive, ad-free space for everyone.

This is an ongoing journey for us and the community, and we’re excited to continue exploring and growing together.

Community Moderation
Our goal is to build a community moderated by its members, free from the restrictions of platforms like the Apple Store or Instagram. While we work hard to maintain the server, we recommend that you back up any content you post, as we can guarantee persistence only as long as the server is operational.

For non-moderation support, such as login issues, please email support@gainer.cloud from the email address you registered with. This helps us verify your identity and process your request as quickly as possible.

You can make your profile private by navigating to:
Preferences > Other > Posting Privacy and setting it to “Followers Only.”

6. Age and Eligibility - Membership is restricted to adults only. By signing up for Gainer.Cloud, you confirm that you are 18 years or older. If you are under 18, please use a different Mastodon instance.
7. Respect Content Ownership - All images on this server remain the property of their creators. Saving or redistributing images without explicit permission will result in a permanent ban.
8. Profile Picture Guidelines -Nudity is not permitted in profile pictures. Topless images are acceptable, but genital nudity is not allowed.
9. AI-Generated Content - AI-generated images are allowed, provided they are clearly labelled as such in the accompanying post. A content warning (CW) can also be used for clarity.
10. Ai Generated Content: We completely allow AI generated images, as long as its mentioned in the post that it is AI Generated.
11. Harassment and Abuse - Harassment, bullying, or targeting of individuals will not be tolerated. This includes direct messages, public posts, and replies.
12. Hate Speech and Violence - Posts promoting hate speech, glorifying violence, or encouraging harm to oneself or others are strictly prohibited.
13. Impersonation - Do not impersonate other individuals, organizations, or entities in a misleading or harmful way.
14. Content Warnings for Sensitive Topics - Use content warnings (CW) for topics that may be distressing to others, such as violence, politics, or other potentially triggering content.
15. Bot Policy - Automated accounts (bots) are welcome but must be clearly labelled and should not disrupt server operations or users.
16. Language and Accessibility - Posts should aim to be respectful and considerate of diverse users, including avoiding ableist language and providing alt text for images to enhance accessibility.
17. Privacy and Prohibited Content -Sharing private or personally identifiable information (PII) about others without consent is forbidden. Additionally, content promoting scams, pyramid schemes, or illegal activities (e.g., drug dealing or fraud) is not allowed.
18. Report Misconduct - If you notice a rule violation or harmful behaviour, report it to moderators rather than engaging directly.
