Willkommen bei Noto.social! 🌴

Wir sind ein kleiner Knotenpunkt in einem riesigen, föderalen sozialen Netzwerk namens Fediverse. Du kannst mit Millionen von Nutzern auf der ganzen Welt sprechen, verteilt auf Tausende von anderen Knotenpunkten und verschiedenen Systemen. Es ist ein bisschen wie E-Mail, aber für soziale Netzwerke.

Es gibt Plattformen für Microblogging, Blogging, Fotoblogging, Videohosting und vieles mehr, die alle miteinander vernetzt sind. Du brauchst also nur ein Konto, um Nutzern auf jeder der Plattformen zu folgen. Für diejenigen, die mehr lesen möchten, gibt es eine Website mit vielen Details, auch über die Software, die diesen Knotenpunkt betreibt.

Wie läuft das hier?

Noto.social versteht sich als Instanz für sichere Kommunikation unter zivilisierten Menschen. Wer sich hier anmeldet, wird vermutlich keine Arbeit bei der Moderation oder sonstwie Probleme verursachen. Du hast eine Meinung? Das ist gut, aber bitte beleidige niemanden bei deinen Äußerungen. Und falls es dir doch mal passiert, entschuldige dich aufrichtig. So schwer ist das doch nicht.

Dennoch gibt es einige Grundregeln und rote Linien, um die Dinge klar zu halten. Nicht nur für die Nutzer, sondern auch für andere, die sich diese Instanz ansehen. Soll niemand hinterher sagen können, er hätte es vorher nicht gewusst.

Regeln

1. Diskriminierungen
Diskriminiere niemanden, verhalte dich nicht menschenfeindlich oder generell unangenehm anderen gegenüber. Solches Verhalten umfasst unter anderem Verunglimpfungen, Herabwürdigungen, das Verächtlich- oder Lächerlichmachen und darüber hinaus Aussagen, die Folgendes ausdrücken:

• gruppenbezogene Menschenfeindlichkeit im Allgemeinen
• LGBTQIA+-Feindlichkeit
• Rassismus
• Antisemitismus
• Ableismus
• Misogynie

Sei im einfach kein Arsch, dann ist alles gut.

2. Belästigungen
Belästige andere nicht im Fediverse. Dies umfasst, ist aber nicht beschränkt auf:

• Umgehung von Sperren von Benutzern, mit denen du interagiert hast, auf oder außerhalb des Servers, über Zweit-Accounts oder andere Mittel.
• Drohungen
• Erpressung
• Leute dazu auffordern, sich selbst zu töten

3. Illegale Inhalte
Es versteht sich fast von selbst, aber veröffentliche keine Inhalte, die in Deutschland illegal sind. Inhalte, die in Deutschland illegal sind, werden gelöscht und können zur sofortigen Sperrung des Kontos führen. Wenn du dir unsicher bist, ob dein nächster Beitrag legal ist, ist er es höchstwahrscheinlich nicht.

3a. Inhalte und Informationen Dritter
Respektiere die Rechte Dritter und veröffentliche nur Inhalte deren Urheber du bist oder deren Lizenz eine Weiterverbreitung ausdrücklich erlaubt. Die Veröffentlichung persönlicher Daten oder Adressen ("doxing") ist untersagt und wird zur Anzeige gebracht.

3b. Propaganda verfassungswidriger und terroristischer Organisationen
Sämtliche Inhalte verfassungswidriger oder terroristischer Organisationen sind untersagt und eine Veröffentlichung wird zur Anzeige gebracht. Dies schließt auch Organisationen mit ein, die nach aktuellem Stand nicht verboten sind, deren Positionen aber unter 1.) fallen.

3c. Rechtliche Grauzonen
Es gibt eine Reihe von Inhalten, die vielleicht nicht illegal sind oder wo die Rechtslage unklar ist, ich aber mindestens ablehne und deren Verbreitung auf keinen Fall fördern möchte. Dazu zählen vor allem aber nicht nur: Falschinformationen, Verschwörungsmythen, sexualisierte Darstellungen von Minderjährigen ("loli").

4. NSFW / 18+
Kennzeichne Bilder als sensibel, wenn du NSFW-Inhalte postest, insbesondere mit grausamen, sexuell anzüglichen oder expliziten Bildern. Falls du einen NSFW-only Account erstellen möchtest, ziehe bitte eine andere Instanz in Betracht. Es gibt genug Instanzen, die dafür besser geeignet sind.

5. Spam / Flooding
Kein Spammen oder Fluten mit Posts ("Flooding"), weder auf Timelines hier noch auf Timelines anderswo. Spamme einen Hashtag nicht mit Unsinn zu und überschwemme einzelne Person nicht mit Antworten, um sie zu übertönen.

6. Automatisierte Postings
Crossposting von anderen Plattformen, Feed-Postings, Bots und ähnliche automatisierte Inhalt sind nicht so gerne gesehen. Auf Noto.social stehen die Menschen und ihre Kommunikation im Vordergrund. Wenn dein Account also überwiegend aus automatisierten Beiträgen bestehen soll, such dir bitte eine andere Instanz. Falls du dir unsicher bist, frag bitte vorher nach. Man kann ja über alles reden.

7. Werbung
Auch hier wieder der Hinweis auf Menschen und zwischenmenschliche Kommunikation als zentralem Aspekt von Noto.social. Unternehmensaccounts oder das dauerhafte Reposting solcher Accounts führt zur Sperrung. Wenn du für ein Unternehmen werben möchtest, gibt es sicher besser geeignete Instanzen. Oder du trägst zum Fediverse bei und setzt selbst eine Instanz für deine Firma und ihre Mitarbeiter auf.

Maßnahmen

Die Personen in Verantwortung, Moderatoren und Admins, sorgen für einen zivilisierten Umgang der Nutzer auf Noto.social. Dafür haben sie das Recht und die Verantwortung, Beiträge, Nachrichten, Kommentare zu entfernen, zu bearbeiten oder abzulehnen, die nicht mit den oben aufgeführten Regeln übereinstimmen.

Darüber hinaus haben sie das Recht, bestimmte Maßnahmen zu ergreifen, wenn ein Mitglied der Noto.social Community andere Verhaltensweisen an den Tag legt, die sie für unangemessen, bedrohlich, beleidigend oder schädlich halten. Beispiele für solche Maßnahmen sind unter anderem:

1. Entfernung oder Einschränkung der Sichtbarkeit von Inhalten, die auf Noto.social veröffentlicht werden
2. Vorübergehender oder dauerhafter Ausschluss aus Noto.social
3. Ein vorübergehendes oder dauerhaftes Verbot, sich in Zukunft ein Konto auf Noto.social zu registrieren
4. Ein vorübergehendes oder dauerhaftes Verbot der Teilnahme als Noto.social Moderator oder Admin

Durchsetzung

Fälle von beleidigendem, belästigendem oder anderweitig inakzeptablem Verhalten können gemeldet werden durch:

1. Verwendung des Menüpunkts "Melden" auf jedem Beitrag oder Profil
2. Kontaktaufnahme mit Noto.social Administratoren direkt über den Account @admin@noto.social
3. Senden einer E-Mail an vinz (at) vinzv (dot) de

Alle Beschwerden werden so schnell wie möglich geprüft und untersucht und führen zu einer Antwort, die als notwendig und den Umständen angemessen erachtet wird. Die Noto.social Administratoren und Moderatoren sind verpflichtet, die Vertraulichkeit in Bezug auf den Reporter eines Vorfalls zu wahren. Weitere Einzelheiten zu spezifischen Durchsetzungsrichtlinien können separat veröffentlicht werden.

Welcome to Noto.social! 🌴

We a are a small node inside the huge and federated social network called the Fediverse. You can talk to millions of users worldwide, distributed over thousands of other nodes and various different systems. It's a bit like e-mail but for social networking.

There are platforms for microblogging, blogging, photoblogging, videohosting and much more, which are all interconnected. So you only need one account to follow users on any of the platforms. For those of you who fancy reading more, there's a website with lots of details even on the software powering this node.

Or you could just jump in, look around - and hopefully make yourself a comfortable home. Enjoy! 🦥

How do things work here?

Noto.social sees itself as an instance for safe communication among civilized people. Anyone who registers here is unlikely to cause any moderation work or other problems. You have an opinion? That's fine, but please don't offend anyone in your remarks. And if it does happen to you, apologize sincerely. It's not that difficult after all.

Nevertheless, there are some ground rules and red lines to keep things clear to keep things clear. Not only for the users, but also for others who look at view this instance. No one should be able to say afterwards that they had not known before.

Rules

1. Discriminations
Do not discriminate against anyone, do not behave misanthropic or generally unpleasant towards others. Such behavior includes, but is not limited to, slurs, disparagement, ridiculing or ridicule, and in addition, statements that express the following express the following:

• Group-related enmity in general
• LGBTQIA+ hostility
• Racism
• Antisemitism
• Ableism
• Misogynism

Just don't be a dick and everything will be fine.

2. Harassments
Do not harass others in Fediverse. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Bypassing bans by users with whom you have interacted, on or off the server, via secondary accounts or other means.
• Threats
• Blackmailing
• Ask people to put themselves off

3. Illegal Contents
It almost goes without saying, but do not publish content that is illegal in Germany. Content, illegal in Germany will be deleted and can lead to the immediate immediate account suspension. If you are in doubt as to whether your next post is legal, it most likely is not.

3a. Third party contents and information
Respect the rights of third parties and only publish content of which you are the author or of which the license explicitly allows redistribution. The publication of personal information or addresses ("doxing") is prohibited and will be reported to law enforcement.

3b. Propaganda of unconstitutional and terrorist organizations
All contents of unconstitutional or terrorist organizations are prohibited and any publication will be reported to local authorities. This also includes organizations that are not banned according to current are not banned, but whose views fall under 1.).

3c. Legal gray areas
There are a number of contents that may not be illegal or where the legal situation is unclear, but which I at least reject and whose dissemination I do not want to encourage under any circumstances. These include, but are not limited to: false information, conspiracy myths, sexualized depictions of minors ("loli").

4. NSFW / 18+
Flag images as sensitive when posting NSFW content, especially with cruel, sexually suggestive, or explicit images. If you want to create a NSFW-only account, please consider another instance. There are plenty of instances that are better suited for this.

5. Spam / Flooding
Do not spam or "flood" with posts, either on timelines here or on timelines elsewhere. Don't spam a hashtag with nonsense and don't flood individuals with replies to drown them out.

6. Automated postings
Crossposting from other platforms, feed postings, bots and similar automated content are not as welcome. On Noto.social, the focus is on people and their communication. So if you want your account to consist mostly of automated posts, please find another instance. If you are unsure, please ask first. After all, there's always room to discuss things.

7. Advertising
Again, referring to people and interpersonal communication as a central aspect of Noto.social. Corporate accounts or the permanent reposting of such accounts will lead to suspension. If you want to promote a company, there are certainly better suited instances. Or you can contribute to Fediverse and set up an instance yourself for your company and its employees.

Measures

The persons in charge, moderators and admins, ensure a civilized interaction of users on Noto.social. For this they have the right and responsibility to remove, edit or reject posts, messages, comments that do not comply with the rules listed above.

In addition, they have the right to take certain actions when a member of the Noto.social community engages in other behaviors that they deem inappropriate, threatening, abusive or harmful. Examples of such actions include, but are not limited to:

1. Removal or restriction of the visibility of content that is published on Noto.social
2. Temporary or permanent exclusion from Noto.social
3. A temporary or permanent ban on registering an account on Noto.social in the future
4. A temporary or permanent ban on participation as a Noto.social moderator or admin

Enforcement

Incidents of abusive, harassing or otherwise unacceptable behavior may be reported by:

1. Using the "Report" menu item on any post or profile
2. Contact Noto.social administrators directly through the account @vinzv@noto.social
3. Sending an e-mail to vinz (at) vinzv (dot) de

All complaints will be reviewed and investigated as soon as possible and will result in a response deemed necessary and appropriate to the circumstances. Noto.social administrators and moderators are required to maintain confidentiality regarding the reporter of an incident. Further details on specific enforcement policies may be posted separately.
