Strangeminds Social is open to all, no matter your race, colour, sexual orientation or political views. The posting character limit has been doubled to 1,000, this should be enough for anybody (Mastodon is a microblogging platform after all).

Moderation

Reports sent to us due to account activity will be acted upon within 24 hours of receiving the report. Any action taken will be at the discretion of the moderation team.

Accounts will be suspended after 3 months of inactivity and subsequently deleted. 'Activity' does not mean just logging in, if you're not going to post anything why are you here?

Federation

We will never defederate from another server just because someone in the Fediverse doesn't like that server or who runs / owns it. I don't see why we should arbitrarily block a server (e.g. threads.net), preventing our users from accessing accounts on that server.

Updates

We aim to update the core Mastodon software and any 3rd party apps it uses as soon as updates become available. This will occasionally result in unscheduled downtime (hopefully not more than a few minutes).
