Our infrastructure is designed for both performance and global reach. Our primary server, responsible for core network operations, is strategically located in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. However, we understand that our users are spread across various time zones. To ensure a consistent experience for everyone, all post timestamps are displayed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). This provides a standardized time reference, regardless of your physical location.

Furthermore, all media content – images, videos, and other files – are stored using our own in-house S3-compatible minio server, a robust and scalable storage service. This not only ensures the safety and availability of your data but also allows us to deliver content to you from the server geographically closest to your location, optimizing loading speeds and overall performance.

At Kawaii.GDN, we believe in fostering a welcoming and safe environment for all. While we are strong proponents of free expression and open communication, we have a zero-tolerance policy towards the sharing of child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Any user found to be distributing or promoting such content will be immediately suspended or permanently banned from the network. In addition, we will promptly report the user's fedi handle and any relevant information to the appropriate legal authorities.
