The Gamers' Tavern is a cozy community talking mainly about gaming but not disdaining other topics, fully committed to the Fediverse and run by an amazing staff (see Staff.

The main goal of the community is providing gamers a cozy and safe home to play together.

The Gamers' Tavern won't ever feed you ads or sell your data, we are against all those BS and that's why we are active only on Fediverse social media (Mastodon, Pixelfed, Peertube, Owncast, etc. see the complete list here.

We just want to play together and have fun.

The instance's staff promise to do the following:

• moderate and facilitate any issues that come up – no issues will be skipped. We will strive to always come to the most equitable and fair decision we can, when it comes to community disputes and infractions;
• never ever spy on our users or viewers, sell their data, or monitor personal communications;
• never ever add ads to our services, there's no need for paying although donations are highly welcomed;
• keep the spam down from garbage instances, and federate with other great instances, all the while protecting you from dangerous contents not complying with out Rules

The Gamers' Tavern chose a full Fediverse approach and all the donations will be used to maintain servers and get better hardware.

Oh, and let's not forget about fueling the staff with more coffee, so why don't you buy them a Ko-Fi or toss a coin to your admins through LiberaPay?

1. Respect towards others: it's fun to make fun of yourself when it's a game for both sides. Do not exaggerate or touch on sensitive topics that can easily offend the other person (religious, sexual orientation, etc.)
2. No toxicity: it makes little to no sense to be here with the sole purpose of insulting others and being toxic
