My name is Marina (AKA Squelf or Squelfland) and this is my very own, personal server, hosting a single account that belong to me. Sign-ups are always closed. I have standards and rules for what I will post, "like" and boost: please see my list of Rules below this section for more information on that.

I keep my moderated servers private to avoid harassment. However, I do suspend and limit instances that have incompatible upload policies to mine, or incompatible rules --and the list is very, very long. I block for the usual reasons... racism, transphobia, CSAM or CSAM-adjacent content, homophobia, extremism, conspiracy theories... etc.

With that said, if you see content that breaks my rules showing up in my federated timeline, please reach out to me via Telegram so I can rectify this.

There are some servers I limit (not suspend) to protect people who are going through this instance's federated tab. Generally it is because I follow a few people from servers that post un-CW'd kink content.

I don't mean to upset anyone by doing this, and I have NOTHING against these servers. 🥺

If I limited a server, it is only because I want to interact with it but worry about triggering/upsetting other people. Basically, I can curate my experience with filters, but I don't know how else to interact with friends from certain servers while protecting people who federate with me. I hope this makes sense. 1. The majority of the art posted by any accounts hosted on this server has been drawn by me, Marina Neira. If I feature artwork done by any other artist, it will always be with that artists' explicit permission and appropriate credits given.
2. I make the greatest possible effort to tag any and all potentially sensitive or triggering content, as well as any links to said content. I also hide such content under a Content Warning (CW).
3. All accounts on this server are owned by me. You will not find bots, spamming or trolling done by any accounts hosted here, neither directly nor indirectly by boosting or "liking". My accounts may sometimes lightly advertise my own personal creative projects, but not excessively.
4. This server does not post any NFT related content.
5. This server does not post, share or support AI-generated images.
6. This server will never host an account that harasses, trolls or bullies people.
7. This server will never post or link to content that is discriminatory or illegal (including sexual depictions of minors in any form) content that glorifies racism, sexism, abuse, body shaming, conspiracy theories, white nationalism, or content that is ableist, homophobic, transphobic, or xenophobic.
