A vore-oriented server aimed at furries who probably know me, Ibzan.

vorny-animals.online is a vore-oriented Mastodon instance. The general aim is for the server to be a welcoming place for friends who are currently migrating over from twitter; by providing a (hopefully) good instance as an option, some of the burden of picking out an instance can be reduced. The general vibes for the rules are "being nice" and not doing anything illegal that would put me in jail.

On that topic, if you see anything that makes you uncomfortable, please do report it. I aim to get around to any such matters, rare as I expect them to be, as quickly as I can. There is no automatic response to moderation cases here.

I am the only person running vorny-animals.online. As such, I pay for all of the infrastructure out of my own pocket. The technology stack powering this instance is made of:

In terms of the actual things involved, vorny-animals.online runs in an EC2 instance running NixOS, using S3 for media, PostgreSQL backups, and Terraform state. Mail is sent via Sendgrid.

1. Don't do anything illegal in the UK, EU, or US on this instance. I don't want to go to jail.
2. Be nice. No discrimination of any kind, be in racism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, or anything else.
3. Be considerate. Use content warnings where appropriate — e.g. tag vore with “vore”. Be aware that public posts will show up in timelines.
4. Be 18+. I don't want any minors here.
