Formal dx and self-dx are acceptable. In fact, it is not a requirement that you be neurodivergent.

Why?

First, asking for a subscription is likely to cut down on the people who shouldn't be here.

Second, there are costs involved with maintaining this server. I'd like to cover those costs.

Note that getting a subscription does not guarantee that you can remain on the server if you start misbehaving. THERE WILL NOT BE ANY REFUNDS. I'm not asking for a ton of money. Processing refunds is too much trouble.

What's in it for you?

Well, nobody wants to have bozos around them, so asking for a subscription benefits you too.

I'm a Software Engineer by trade. My server current contains enhancements that are not part of the "official" Mastodon code base. Right now that means longer posts, and a better handling of the column scrolling when you click to load more posts.

Moderation

Please learn to use block and mute, and reserve calls to moderation for cases that are really beyond the pale.

1. You must get a subscription package from ko-fi in order to be accepted on this server. I do this to cut down on goons and to help support the server. https://ko-fi.com/yourautisticlife
2. No racism, TERFs, transphobia, homophobia, sexism, queerphobia, ablism. If you are pro-cop or pro-military, you are probably not a good fit for this server, seeing as I'm ACAB, BLM, etc. Conservatives might want to abstain, too. Pro-Trump people will be banned.
3. Do not harass people. Learn to use block and mute.
4. Self-promotion is allowed. At the same time, I do not want to turn this server into a platform for advertisements. Advertisements for multi-level schemes, crypto and NTFs will result in the owner being banned. Talk to me if you want clarification.
5. No promotion of ABA, conversion therapy, or therapies of this kind.
6. Bots are generally allowed, but not cross-posting bots from social media platforms that are not on the fediverse, or that are banned by server rules.
7. Absolutely no nudes. I'm not against it in the abstract, but there are servers for that type of content.
8. Use CW judiciously.
