Welcome to Xforum, the unofficial Mastodon install for the members of the University of Exeter, set up by @n at the Egenis Research Centre.
This is a private space for our co-workers to connect, share, and collaborate. As we value both transparency and privacy, please be reminded that this platform is moderated by our colleagues and not secured by professional IT services. We encourage open communication but advise against sharing sensitive personal or business information. This being said, Mastodon offers high grade security protocols and you can also setup 2-factor authentication.
I am looking for moderators to help keep the instance running. We are not many so it should not mean much or any work really. Please contact me if you want to help.
Before you begin, please familiarize yourself with our community guidelines and data governance policies linked below. Thank you for joining and contributing to a respectful and friendly environment!
To voice concerns, give feedback, or report issues regarding community governance or technical problems: get in touch here @n or on my exeter.ac.uk work email.
