This server is hosted in the United States. While all services run on AWS, this is a PRIVATELY funded and run server. Bertshouse has existed in one form or another since the late 90's. It was originally a collection of old servers that lived under the stairs in my home. Over time Bertshouse has morphed from an Electronic Bulletin Board System to a MyPhp Forum, to a private family photo-sharing site, and now Mastodon.

3. No harassment, dogpiling or doxxing of other users.
4. No incitement of violence or promotion of violent ideologies.
5. No racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, or casteism.
6. Sexually explicit or violent media must be marked as sensitive when posting.
7. No spam. No ads. No crypto and NFT endorsements.
