Who we are

We're a small mastodon instance where everyone knows everyone else, and at present we're not open to taking on new users.

Content rules

Content we do not allow that will lead to limiting of accounts or suspension (here and remotely) includes but is not limited to:

• Harassment, pile ons, block evasion, continuing to contact people after they've asked you to stop.
• Hate speech and bigotry (queerphobia, racism, colourism, antisemitism, xenophobia, sexism, ableism).
• Body shaming. This includes concern trolling.
• Anti-sex worker rhetoric.
• Cryptocurrency, NFTs, or other financial scams.
• Advertising, spam. This includes direct asks for aid or unsolicited requests to boost posts or links.
• Federation and other mass follow bots, archiving bots.
• Malicious links and phishing.
• Untagged NSFW and violent content.

Moderation is at our discretion. Even if you haven't gone against any of the stated rules, we may still limit accounts that are being a pain in the ass, continually acting in bad faith, spreading harmful content, otherwise causing problems.

Federation policy

For simplicity's sake we silence/block instances that are silenced/blocked by either mas.to, or chaos.social because they have already done the hard work aggregating these lists and nobody here has any interest in reading from racists and conspiracy freaks.

Rules attribution

The above is an amalgamation lifted from mas.to, chaos.social, and glitterkitten.co.uk.

1. No discrimination, including (but not limited to) racism, sexism, homophobia or transphobia.
2. No explicit (NSFW) content without content warnings and/or sensitive media markers. Explicit content must not be used in user avatars or header images.
3. No harassment of other users on this or other servers.
4. No content illegal in the following countries: United Kingdom, Germany
5. No incitement of violence or promotion of violent ideologies.
6. No disinformation regarding public health issues or political/military campaigns.
7. No spam. This includes commercial advertising, promotional campaigns, and SEO.
