Geekdom is a high-performance Mastodon server for geeks of any variety.

Geekdom is a community platform for people who are passionate about one or more specific topics and would like to share their enthusiasm and expertise with others. Topics can be from any kind of area, such as arts, technology, games, crafts, music, or science, just to name a few.

We're running this instance on high-performance server infrastructure operated by SRE experts.

1. Hate speech and acts of discrimination such as racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, xenophobia, or casteism will not be tolerated.
2. Do not intentionally share false or misleading information.
3. Do not send unsolicited DMs.
4. Sexually explicit or violent media must be marked as sensitive with a content warning.
5. Do not share posts containing incitement of violence or promotion of violent ideologies.
6. Do not be intentionally antagonistic. Posts or replies designed to provoke a confrontation are not acceptable.
7. Do not post spam. Toots containing just links or an inordinate number of hashtags are considered spam, as does any overly commercial self-promotion. (It is fine to toot about your own projects and share what you are excited to be working on — just keep the toot itself interesting).
