En varm velkomst til det virtuelle musikfællesskab ballhaus.community! Ballhaus.community er en medie-platform, der er oprettet og varetaget af Foreningen Ballhaus . Vi har skabt platformen med tanke på kunstmusikkens økosystem, dvs. som et fælleskab mellem professionelle musikere, undervisere, musikologer, publikum, arrangører, kulturjournalister og andre ildsjæle der får musikken til at leve. Vi byder også gerne professionelt arbejdende kunstnere fra andre felter ind i fællesskabet.

Ballhaus.community er bygget på applikationen Mastodon. Mastodon minder på mange måder om Twitter, med elementer fra andre sociale netværk. Men der er væsentlige forskelle. Denne lille video forklarer det hele på få minutter:

A warm welcome to the virtual music community ballhaus.community! Ballhaus.community is a media platform created and maintained by the Ballhaus Association located in Denmark. We have created the platform with the art music ecosystem in mind, i.e. as a community between professional musicians, audiences, organisers, cultural journalists and other enthusiasts who make the music come alive. We are also happy to welcome professionally working artists from other fields into the community.

Ballhaus.community is built on the application Mastodon. Mastodon is in many ways reminiscent of Twitter, with elements from other social networks. But there are significant differences. This little video explains it all in a few minutes:
