The theme of this instance is: academia, research, teaching and learning, which is intentionally broad. You do not need to have any degree to join--all are welcome.
What can get an account closed?
If you are subject to, or observe, any harassment, or have any other concerns, please report the relevant post(s) or messages a moderator. Reports will be dealt with discreetly and in confidence.
Use of bots and cross-posters
It is fine to use apps or services which generate posts automatically, but please make sure that you have them under control: make sure they are relevant, try to limit it to a few posts a day. Mark the account as bot if appropriate. When using bots and cross-posters visit AcademicTalk regularly, if only to interact with replies.
