This Mastodon instance is hosted and operated by 23M GmbH.

We've created this instance as a place for anyone that enjoys working with servers, IT in general, or networks. Nonetheless anyone is welcome to create an account here as long as you follow our rules and work towards creating a welcoming environment.

Obviously, the posts here don't have to be server or IT focused all the time and it's totally okay to fill your own timeline with cat content. But we expect all users in our instance to be respectful and inclusive towards each other.

Backups should not be missed, of course. Therefore, a backup of the system is made every hour. For the media files we use our own S3 storage.

There is no need to contribute anything to keep this instance running, since we are hosting it on our own servers. However, if you like this page speed, maybe check out our hosting solutions over at 23M.com
