My entry into the fediverse. Registrations require approval for now as I do not want my instance to turn into a part-time job.

This instance is run by an experienced system administrator. You should be able to expect reasonable uptime. It is however also run on my own free time, mainly intended for my own enjoyment.

Sign-ups are welcome, just understand that support is best-effort. I have had very good uptime for the past year since I decided to jump into the fediverse with both feet, but I do have a day job, and I am operating this system alone on my own dime.

I do expect users on my instance to behave themselves and adhere to my rules. I've spent a long time on the internet, and myself have a very thick skin, but I will not tolerate bullying, hate, or segregation.

1. Be kind to everyone, when possible
2. No hate speech, period.
3. No adult images (nudity, pornography). For both legal and social reasons, the admin does not want the responsibility of hosting this sort of content.
4. Keep Political and religious discussion civil. We are not opposed to healthy debate, but please, keep it respectful.
5. No images of violence without a content warning. We do not want to ignore the atrocities in the world, but realize that others may not want to see images of death or violence without a warning.
