I run this server as a gift to you, my friends. Please try not to reward me for it by making my life more difficult. Please follow the server rules; if you repeatedly or egregiously break them, I will have to remove your account. If you are a user of this site, your profile is opted-out of the public directory and indexing by search engines here by default; if you want to be found, you will probably want to go into your preferences and change those settings. For privacy reasons, the list of instances that we block is only visible to our users, but members of the general public can be assured that it is lengthy. We try not to federate with servers that have rules incompatible with ours. Please report anything you might see on federated that should be added to the block list. 1. No hate: including but not limited to any sort of invective based on race, nationality, gender or sexual identity, disability, body type, diet, promiscuity, relationship status, etc. Black Lives Matter. Trans rights are human rights. Sex work is real work. Nazi punks fuck off.
2. Don't start shit: don't harass people, don't start fights, don't bother people that don't want you to bother them, don't dox people, don't spread misinformation, don't try to make people feel unsafe, don't make threats (violent or otherwise). Even if you're right, I don't want to host your fights.
3. No illegal shit: If you wouldn't admit to the FBI and a room full of copyright lawyers that you have it, don't upload it here. Any adult content should only feature consenting adults, who have also consented to you posting the image. If you post CSAM on here I'm going to ban you and rat on you.
4. No abuse: including but not limited to spamming, trying to break this server, or trying to break other people's servers using this server. Conduct "security research" on your own stuff. There are no bug bounties for you here, only a tired dad.
5. Use content warnings: All adult, NSFW, or otherwise graphic content should be behind an appropriate content warning. Political content should be behind a content warning, except for oppressed people posting about their oppression. Consider content warnings for eye contact, drugs, alcohol, and food.
