Since our instance is explicitly NSFW all user content will be marked sensitive.

We are an adults only instance, and as such we typically do not restrict federation with other instances. Exceptions may be made in certain situations to:

• Prevent spam and ads.

This code of conduct is inspired by the CoC in Fosstodon.org & Mas.to. We thank them for providing a good template for us to work on.

What Khiar is

• A fruit (cucumber).
• A place for Farsi and/or English speakers.
• A place for discussion, community and friendly interactions of all kinds
• A place to make friends.
• A place to share what you’re excited about, things you enjoy and things you don’t.
• A general platform with no real subject or topic that tries to foster an environment where everyone can be included.

What Khiar is not

• A place to promote your ideology or politics.
• A safe-haven for all speech.
• A platform for any specific cause.
• A platform that supports/condones extreme views.

Rules for All Toots

All toots (public and private) should abide by the following rules:

• Do not post extreme adult content.
• Adult-themed humor is permitted so long it is not directed towards an individual.
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is not permitted. Any attempt to sexualize children (anyone under the age of 18) is also not permitted.
• Content illegal in the United Kingdom is not allowed and will result in revocation of access.
• Any hate speech or discrimination of any group of people, nationality, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation is not tolerated and will result in immediate moderator action.
• Do not engage in personal attacks, all disagreements and arguments must remain civil. There will always be a difference in opinions, we must learn to respect that.
• Do not engage in back-seat moderation. If you see any inappropriate behavior or violations of this CoC, refrain from engaging and report the offending toot.
• Do not spam or post commercial advertisements.
• Posting or threatening to post other people’s personally identifying information (“doxing”) is prohibited.
• Any depiction of extreme violence content is out of bound and will result in moderator action.
• Bots are not allowed unless given explicit permission from the moderation team.

Rules for Public Toots

Public toots should follow the above rules and should also abide by the following additional rules. Your boosts (reblogs) are also considered as public toots:

• Do not debate moderation actions in public toots. If you disagree with how a moderator enforced this CoC you may direct-message the moderation team.

Reporting Violations

If you notice a toot that violates this code of conduct, please report it. It is easy to assume that someone else has already reported a toot, but it is easy for everyone to feel that way and no one to report the toot. The moderation team will always take a pragmatic approach to every report they receive - if they feel that a problematic Toot isn’t explicitly called out in this CoC, yet is inappropriate for Khiar, the Toot will likely be removed, and the member will be dealt with appropriately.

Registration

Registration on Khiar is approval-based. Everyone’s allowed to fill out a registration form, but with an additional form entry for mentioning why you want to join. It is advisable to write a brief introductory paragraph in the registration form.

قوانین همهٔ بوق‌ها

همهٔ بوق‌ها (چه عمومی و چه غیرعمومی) می‌بایست از قوانین زیر پیروی کنند.

• محتوای شدید بزرگسالان ارسال نکنید.
• شوخی با مضمون بزرگسالان تا وقتی که به سمت یک شخص جهت‌دار نباشد، مجاز است.
• مطالب سوء استفاده جنسی از کودکان مجاز نیست. هر تلاشی در راستای استفاده جنسی از کودکان (افراد زیر ۱۸ سال) نیز مجاز نیست.

• هر گونه سخن تنفر یا تبعیض‌آمیز شامل هر گروه افراد، ملیت، قومیت، دین، جنسیت و گرایش جنسی تحمل نشده و به اقدام مدیریتی خواهد انجامید.
• در حملات شخصی مشارکت نکنید. همه اختلافات و بحث‌ها باید مدنی باقی بماند. همواره تفاوت در عقیده‌ها وجود دارد؛ باید یاد بگیریم به آن احترام بگذاریم.
• نقش مدیر به خود نگیرید. اگر رفتار ناشایستی را می‌بینید که ناقض این خط مشیٔ است، از برخورد مستقیم خودداری کنید و تنها آن‌را گزارش دهید.
• از ارسال اسپم و مطالب تبلیغاتی خودداری کنید.
• ارسال یا تهدید به ارسال اطلاعات هویتی شخصی مجاز نیست.
• هر گونه مطلب که خشونت شدید را تصویرسازی کند ممنوع و فرای مرز این خط مشیٔ بوده و به اقدام مدیریتی خواهد انجامید.
• ربات‌ها تا زمانی که اجازه صریح از تیم مدیریت دریافت نکنند، مجاز به فعالیت نیستند.

قوانین برای بوق‌های عمومی

• بوق‌های عمومی علاوه بر قوانین قبلی می‌بایست در راستای این قوانین نیز باشند. بوق‌هایی که تقویت (بوست) می‌کنید نیز جزو بوق‌های عمومی قرار می‌گیرند.
• درباره اقدامات مدیریتی در بوق‌های عمومی بحث نکنید. اگر با این‌که چطور یک مدیر این خط مشیٔ را اجرایی کرده مخالفت دارید، می‌توانید به تیم مدیریت پیام خصوصی دهید.
• هر محتوای خفیف بزرگسالان می‌بایست دارای برچسب «اخطار محتوا» باشد.
• در زبان‌هایی غیر از انگلیسی و فارسی بوق ارسال نکنید.

گزارش تخلفات

اگر متوجه شدید بوقی این خط مشیٔ را نقض می‌کند، لطفا آن‌را گزارش دهید. آسان است که گمان کنیم یک نفر از قبل آن‌را گزارش کرده اما ممکن است همه با همین فکر چیزی را گزارش نکنند. همچنین اگر شخصا با نوع توجهی که دریافت می‌کنید احساس راحتی ندارید، آن‌را به تیم مدیریت گزارش کنید.

بررسی همه

تیم مدیریت با هر گزارشی که دریافت می‌کند، رویکرد عمل‌گرا خواهد داشت. اگر ایشان احساس کنند یک بوق مشکل‌دار توسط خط مشیٔ مشخص نشده درحالی که برای خیار مناسب نیست، آن بوق حذف خواهد شد و با کاربر برخورد مناسب می‌شود.

Terms of service

All members of fandom.ink agree that they:

1. will abide by the terms of service and code of conduct, and
2. are prepared and able to use tools provided by the platform to appropriately curate their own experience, within the constraints described below.

Inappropriate behaviour

fandom.ink is a moderated instance. The following behaviours are never tolerated:

1. the aggressive or contemptuous use of derogatory language, offensive comments, dog-whistles, or the use of slurs related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, (dis)ability, mental illness, neuro(a)typicality, physical appearance, body size, race and ethnicity, religion, or fandom or fannish expression (e.g. "shipwars")
2. expressing or defending derogatory, harmful, and/or contemptuous views of marginalized persons or groups, including in the context of playing "devil's advocate" ("it's not really racist because...")
3. deliberate misgendering or use of "dead" or rejected names
4. threats of violence
5. incitement of violence towards any individual or group, including encouraging a person to commit suicide or to engage in self-harm
6. deliberate intimidation
7. sustained disruption of discussion, including the excessive posting of low-value or unrelated content to public timelines (e.g. spam, AI-generated content, intentionally disruptive shitposting, etc.)
8. religious proselytization
9. unwelcome sexual attention, including simulated physical contact
10. continued one-on-one communication after requests to cease
11. publication of an individual's personally identifying information without their consent ("doxxing"), even in situations where that information may be "public" in other forums
12. the linking of an individual's personas, online handles, screen names, or identities, where those links are not well-known, or where the individual has requested they not be linked
13. posting intentionally graphic, shocking, or triggering content without platform-appropriate markings (e.g. CWs, etc.)
14. uncut spoilers in public timelines (i.e. spoilers posted without appropriate CWs, etc.)
15. commercial accounts or accounts that exist primarily to promote commercial businesses.
16. "screenshot dunking" and/or the reposting of content from locked or otherwise non-public sources, done primarily with the intent of shaming, mocking, or harassing individuals.

Adult and erotic content

Adult/erotic content is permitted, under the following caveats:

1. User avatars and profile banner images must be all-ages appropriate.
2. All adult content must be clearly marked, using platform-appropriate tools (e.g. CWs, marking images as "sensitive", etc.), including when posted to private or limited-distribution timelines.
3. Erotic content (e.g. nudity, "sensual" images) is permitted in public timelines, so long as it is clearly marked using platform-appropriate tools.
4. Pornographic content (e.g. depictions of actual sex acts) is not permitted in public timelines.
5. However, linking to erotic or pornographic content (e.g. fic recs, a public buffer/announcement post followed by a thread of unlisted explicit posts, etc.) is permitted in public timelines, with appropriate markings/warnings.

In general, fandom.ink aims to be a sex-positive experience, with a strong opt-in culture for adult content. Note also that adult content on fandom.ink is expected to exist within a primarily fannish context. That is, fanart, fanfic, and so on. Erotica and pornography unrelated to fandom creative works may find a better home on another instance.

Please note that visual depictions of minors in sexual situations are illegal in most jurisdictions, including those in which fandom.ink is hosted and operated from. Accordingly, such content is prohibited under the Terms of Service and we do not federate with instances where it is allowed.

Reposting content

The reposting of unmodified content from the users of other platforms is prohibited. This includes, but is not necessarily limited to: cross-posted Twitter retweets; reposting art; and reposting unmodified screenshots of posts. Linking to and boosting/"re-tooting" original works is encouraged instead.

Note that using screenshots of posts as part of, for e.g., art or memes is generally permitted, so long as it does not violate the terms of service or code of conduct (e.g. is not harassing, doxxing, etc.).

Federation

fandom.ink takes a proactive stance to managing its federation with other servers. At a high-level, instance moderation policies are designed to attempt to prioritise and encourage kind, earnest, and authentic connections between individuals as well as a culture of consent around content and interactions.

To this end, we do not federate with servers that have moderation policies antithetical to ours. These include unmoderated ("free speech") instances, and any instance that tolerates content that is forbidden under the fandom.ink Terms of Service or Code of Conduct.

In addition, large instances and/or instances with a high volume of automated traffic are likely to be silenced.

Please note that, to preserve the safety of our users and the sanity of our admin, the full blocklist is not publicly available.

Reporting

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, see content you believe violates the code of conduct or terms of service, or have any other concerns, please make use of the platform's in-built flagging and reporting tools, or contact an admin at abuse@fandom.ink. Cases will be responded to as promptly as possible.

fandom.ink respects confidentiality requests for the purpose of protecting victims of abuse. At our discretion, we may publicly name a person about whom we’ve received harassment complaints, or privately warn third parties about them. We will not name harassment victims without their affirmative consent.

Consequences

Participants asked to stop any behaviour deemed inappropriate by a moderator are expected to comply immediately. Individuals continuing to engage in inappropriate behaviours may be shadowbanned or expelled from fandom.ink. All decisions by the administrator on this issue are final.

Credits and licence

This code of conduct is based on Annalee Flower Horne's Sample Slack Code of Conduct, which is in turn based on Geek Feminism's Community Anti-Harassment Policy. It has been adapted for use by fandom.ink under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License.

This domain was bought in Christmas of 2009 by the Type Moon fanatic NekoArc to properly set up an IRC network called Tsuki IRC as a safehaven several communities after a major split of several irc servers via permanent netsplit

It's primary intention back then was to continue community discussion and came to be a trans focused community .

Over time the IRC network eventually shut down as things were eventually moved to discord and the trans ran community still continues on over a decade later!

This instance has been started to be additional extension of existing community and to provide a safe haven for fellow trans people to exist and thrive!

To migrate from another instance:

Create a new account on this server (tsukihi.me).

On the new account:

Go to preferences -> Moving from a different account. Enter the handle of the old account. Click Create alias.

On your existing account:

Go to preferences -> import/export -> data export Download the CSV file called "Follows" Go to preferences -> account -> Move to a different account. Enter the handle of the new account and the current account password. Click Move Followers.

On the new account:

Go to preferences -> import/export -> data import. Choose the Follows file you downloaded previously.

Click Upload.

It will potentially take a little while for all followers to migrate across.

Federation

While we have open federation, this instance will actively moderate and defederate instances that run against or contravene the user experience for the community here, along with content that would be considered illegal where the server is hosted and operated from.

We try to be lighthearted, literally and figuratively, but in order to do so, we need to lay down a few rules to make sure everyone has a swell time.

Rules

1. You must be 18 years of age or older
   While we don't only serve adult content, this side of online communities has a strong adult focus. To ensure everyone's safety and well-being, minors are not permitted an account on blimps.xyz and if we find out you're lying your account will be suspended. You MAY be granted access again once you turn 18. If we find out you're dodging through another account, or lie that you're 18 after being reinstated, you will be permanently suspended from access.
2. Be respectful
   Treat everyone on this and other instances with respect. We're definitely on the furrier side of things, so while I won't say "treat others like (I hope) you'd treat your mother", you get the idea.
3. No bigotry
   Like "Be nice", racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, and any and all forms of bigotry will not be tolerated, period. The furry community is meant to be welcoming to folks, not exclusive.
4. Tag NSFW content as such
   While there is plenty of NSFW/adult content that this community can encompass, I expect everyone to use the Content Warning features of Mastodon to flag it as such to prevent automatically loading on others. If you will post it quite frequently, and don't wish to use the flags, you must set your account to locked when registering. We will use a three strikes system.
5. Zero tolerance for attacks
   Repeating, there is zero tolerance for bigotry and personal insults. First offenders will have their toot moderated and given a final warning. Second offense is a ban from the instance.
6. Report inappropriate behavior
   One of the great features for Mastodon is the ease of moderation in communities. Blimps.xyz expects all users to report any activity that violates the rules using the features built in to Mastodon for moderation and review. Use it!
7. No spam
   This is somewhat self-explanatory but is also further outlined below. We have a zero tolerance policy for any spam or abuse of this instance and will restrict or remove your account for spam. Don't blast messages like crazy, restrict advertising to legitimate recommendations only.
8. No doxing
   This counts as a personal attack and will not be tolerated. Blimps.xyz only collects information as outlined in our privacy policy, and will not release IPs or private information about users. You may not either. This is a zero-tolerance policy.

4. Spam filtering issues No message filtering system is 100% accurate, and from time to time legitimate messages will be filtered out by our systems. If you believe that a legitimate message you have sent has been filtered out by our systems, please advise the message recipient by another means or contact a moderator for assistance. 7. Variation We may amend this policy at any time by publishing a new version on our website.

1. You must be 18 years of age or older. No exceptions will be granted for "age of consent" or similar for your region. If discovered a minor, your account will be suspended.
2. No bigotry is permitted. We do not tolerate hate speech of any kind, including transphobia, homophobia, Islamophobia, or any other facet of one's being.
3. Be respectful: Treat others with respect. Assume good faith with everything. Text has limited ability to convey intent; be kind with yours.
4. NSFW or kink-driven content must be behind a CW giving a short summary of the content (e.g. "NSFW Art, inflation"), while ensuring media is marked as 'sensitive'
5. Zero tolerance for attacks. Harassing other users, whether on this instance or another, is cause for immediate suspension of your account.
6. Copyrighted content may only be shared in fair use contexts. Basically, if it would earn a DMCA takedown request filed against us, don't post it directly.
7. Take care in sharing sensitive information. While the admins here simply don't have the time nor interest to pry in the database, law enforcement could still have access as your messages are not encrypted at rest, same as nearly all other platforms. When in doubt, use a private messaging platform.

User Code of Conduct (Rules)

The following types of content will be removed, and will result in account suspension and revocation of access to the service: Registering accounts with inherently malicious intent.

• Violence: You may not make specific threats of violence or wish for the serious physical harm, death, or disease of an individual or group of people. This includes, but is not limited to, threatening or promoting terrorism. You also may not affiliate with organisations that — whether by their own statements or activity both on and off the platform — use or promote violence against civilians to further their causes.

Content Warning (CW) Guidelines

We encourage the use of Content Warnings (aka Content Wrappers, aka Summaries, aka Topics, aka Subject lines, hereafter CWs) on your posts. CWs are a courtesy to your readers and other members of The Blower community. CWs are not self-censorship: they do not suppress the indexing of posts, only their initial visibility.

The Blower believes that CWs are an important tool to support people's self-autonomy, but they can also be used for expression and creativity.

CWs are not expected on posts made by marginalised people about their own marginalisation, though authors may choose to do so.

Safety and Moderation

We strive to be a welcoming, and safe instance. Mastodon has safety features such as word/hashtag filtering to limit visibility to unwanted content, and we encourage the use of block/muting other accounts rather than engaging in vitriolic arguments. Please make use of the ability to report accounts that break the rules.

Please report users who break following the code of conduct, but please do not message people on behalf of the moderation team. Instead, you can scroll on, block, mute, or report to let moderators deal with it.

We will not act on complaints regarding:

• Criticising racist, sexist, or otherwise oppressive behaviour or assumptions.
